Model choice can be a personal thing; however, it is practical to look at the major waters you fish. The Brookside Model meets most all general fishing situations of rods ranging from 6 -10 feet and from 2 to 9 weight reels. If you target bigger fish most of the year then you should consider a Big Water model that can accommodate rods with Fighting Butts and Larger reels. For your Sea Run fish Atlantic Salmon,  Strippers or even Musky.

You can have any color as long as it's Black! (Nod to Henry Ford!).
